You Can’t Win the Day if You’re Not Present
One of the most powerful leadership skills we teach isn’t a punch, a kick, or a defense.
It’s presence.
Presence means being fully where your feet are—mentally, emotionally, and physically.
When we’re distracted by yesterday’s mistakes or worried about tomorrow’s challenges, we lose the only moment we can actually win: now.
That’s why we teach our students a simple principle called WIN:
What’s Important Now?
Presence allows us to see clearly.
WIN helps us choose wisely.
When a student focuses on the right technique right now, they improve.
When a leader focuses on the right decision right now, momentum builds.
When a family focuses on the right habits right now, lives change.
Vision isn’t created in the future.
It’s built by winning the moments in front of us—one class, one choice, one day at a time.
Today’s question is simple:
Are you present enough to WIN?

p.s. I have been present around the dojo, both of them, a lot this week and have enjoyed seeing so many of you!
I’ll be at the Lutz dojo all day today too!
I hope to see you!
