Never Forget: The Leadership Lessons of September 11 | Prepare to Lead
Twenty-five years after September 11, 2001, we remember not only the tragedy of that day, but the extraordinary courage, service, sacrifice, and leadership that followed. This message is especially important for a generation of students who were born long after 9/11. The goal is not to teach fear or hatred. It is to remember history, honor those who served and sacrificed, and understand a timeless leadership truth: The crucible rarely gives us advance notice. When crisis comes, it reveals what we have prepared beforehand—our courage, discipline, character, confidence, responsibility, and willingness to act for others. At KMMA, we train to be ready physically, mentally, emotionally, and morally. We prepare not because we want to live in fear, but so fear does not control us when the moment comes. Never forget.
