It’s A Family Affair

This past weekend was one of the proudest moments of my life.

My son, Shihan Winston, earned his 4th Degree Blackbelt—Master rank, and my grandson, Triton, earned his 1st Degree Blackbelt.

Both of their speeches moved me deeply—not just because of what they’ve accomplished, but because of who they’ve become and who they’re still becoming through their Blackbelt Leadership journeys.

It’s one of the greatest blessings of my life to see three generations on the mat together—training, sweating, learning, and growing side by side.

At Krav Maga Martial Arts, we see this all the time.
