Blackbelt Extravaganza Sept 2017. Next one is October 3!

  It’s Leadership month at KMMA.

Everything rises and falls on leadership;

      So, as seriously as I take our responsibility to teach the best self defense around, I take even more seriousy our obligation to create Leaders.

It’s what we do. We are a leadership development academy that also happens to teach the most practical self defense system in the world.

     Our whole program is a leadership development program of sequential steps.

·        If you are not yet a student, your first step is to let us start you on your 2 week free trial.

• Students: This month is about renewing your goals! Make sure you do the goal setting worksheets and visualization sheets, and I hope to see many Blackbelt Visualization boards hanging from the cieling soon! Congrats to the Flores family for being the first to get theirs up! I also look forward to talking to may more of you about your next step if you are not yet in our Blackbelt Leadership Training Course (LTC)! Ask your Sensei what you have to do to apply if you’re not sure yet.

I would like to invite you to a very special event next Friday      9/11/2020, 7-8:30pm

·        My Leadership Team and I will be hosting a very special Tribute to the Leaders and Heros of 9/11. There will be a special video presentation, a special Leadership class and a ceremony to honor the leadership and heroism of the first responders and other leaders who lept into action in reaction to the horrors of that day.

·        I remember that Tuesday 19 years ago. I remember everything that happened that morning, where I was, what happened next and I remember making the difficult decision of rather or not to remain open that evening. We did. We believed the best thing we could do for our studentsm our community and our country was to continue to do what we do. We put a huge flag on the wall and we prayed and talked through what had happened. I intend to mount that same flag and have a simlar talk next Friday. I hope that you and your family will join us.

About Grandmaster Stephen J. Del Castillo: Grandmaster Del Castillo is the founding Master Instructor of Krav Maga Martial Arts and has been empowering lives in Pasco and Hillsborough Counties since October of 2000. He is a 7th degree Blackbelt, MBA, author, mentor and success coach, a US Army Veteran and a proud father and grandfather. He is married to Ms. Barbara Del Castillo who helps him run the school. Grand Master Del Castillo began his training in the early 80’s and has high level blackbelts in Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Premier Martial Arts and Krav Maga Martial Arts as well as experience in kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do and Jiujitsu. He has high level instructor certifications from BBSI, IKMF, and KMG and has been featured in numerous Martial Arts publications and also Success magazine. He was a competitive sport karate and American Kickboxing instructor until he enlisted in the US Army where he served in the 82nd Airborne Division, where he won an Army Green to Gold scholarship and proceeded to ROTC and the University of Tampa. He was commisioned in 1992 and went on to serve in Germany with the 3rd Infantry Division and then in several other posts in the US until he left military service to pursue his dream of creating KMMA in 2000.
