A 2-Minute Habit That Builds Confidence

Day 10 of the KMMA Back-to-School Success Challenge features 'The Eye Contact Challenge.' The graphic shows a confident young boy with his arms crossed, wearing a t-shirt with the KMMA logo. The text encourages parents to ask their child, 'What was the best part of your day?' and practice making eye contact to build respect, confidence, better communication, and strong first impressions. The challenge takes less than two minutes. The graphic also promotes a free Back-to-School Success Seminar on July 25, with a QR code to scan to save a seat.

Welcome to Day 10 of our countdown for the Back-to-School Success Challenge!

Over the next 10 days, we’ll be sharing one simple parenting challenge each day to help your child start the school year with greater confidence, focus, and success.

👀 Today’s 2-Minute Challenge

Tonight, ask your child:

“What was the best part of your day?”

Before they answer, encourage them to look you in the eyes while they speak.

It may seem like a small thing, but consistent eye contact helps children develop confidence, respectful communication, and the ability to connect with others-skills that will serve them well both in school and throughout life.

Imagine what a few intentional minutes each day can do over time.

If you enjoy today’s challenge, we’d love for you to join us at our FREE Back-to-School Success Seminar, where we’ll share even more practical strategies to help your child develop confidence, focus, respect, and self-discipline before the new school year begins.
