2025 with KMMA

2025 is going to be a great year for you with KMMA!

We are proud and grateful to help you accomplish all of your goals in 2025 and are working diligently to be even better prepared to do so this coming year!

This is the year we take the program to an even greater level of excellence in our commitment to serve you and your family!

Thank you for allowing us to partner with you on your quest to be your best!

Here are a few of the initiatives that will make this the best year yet!

1. I have created a new Blackbelt Leadership Program rotating curriculum that you will get to be the inaugural group with! We are making your new leadership notebooks as we speak and the support materials will be ready for you each week! Everyone, all students, will get the weekly video lesson from me that supports the weekly theme. Then, in the leadership class, you will train the weapon or kenpo form of the quarter, but also go deeper into the leadership theme, with guided discussion by your Sensei. I will have created the handouts for them, with fill in the blank and exercises for you weekly. This method will really help your family bond and develop in the key areas together; and your notebook will become a book you will treasure forever, as you take your Blackbelt Leadership education out of the dojo and into the world!  I’ll be teaching on the 6 Blackbelt Superpowers and 6 other key Blackbelt Leadership themes, with a new lesson on each every week. Here’s a draft of the outline: Check it out and let me know what you think.

2. We have modified the 2025 class schedule a bit to minimize combined classes and maximize every students ability to train 2-3 days per week. You can see it here.

3. Our team keeps getting better, stronger, faster than ever before! In addition to the great Sensei Winston in charge of the teen/adult program and the great Sensei Ayden in charge of the kids program, and the great Sensei Allie as Program Director…we also have CIT and intern instructors assisting in classes. These are up and coming Sensei of Team KMMA too!

  •     btw, we now have middle school and older students with Sensei Winston and his assistants in the adult group, K-5 with Sensei Ayden and his assistants.

4. Speaking of Sensei and CIT, I will also be teaching the Saturday morning Level 3,4 and 5 classes, and the now weekly Certified Instructor Training (CIT) classes too! I am also working on the new rotating curriculum for that program, also complete with handouts, exercises and more but, most of all, I am excited about sowing into the next gen of Blackbelt Leaders, including you!

If you or your kids are interested in the CIT and would like more details, let me know and we’ll personalize the best plan for you!

5. I am also building a new online community for KMMA students and families. If you haven’t joined yet, go to https://www.skool.com/kmma-university-3769/about There is a community forum there, plus I’ll be posting courses and other tools to help you maximize your training in and out of the dojo! But it’s all about community, so I’ll need your help making it great!

Testing next week!

Rock it! I know you will!

also:

  • Sensei Winston and Sensei Ayden conducting a seminar/workshop/review and practice for next week’s testing tonight at 7:30!
