Time flies

My emerging leaders just a few years ago- maybe like 5 or 6

I had the most awesome day with my sons yesterday- young men and emerging leaders.

My eldest Harley is a Master Instructor and my Creative Director at Krav Maga Martial Arts. He is 20.

My middle son Diego just earned his 4th Degree too and is an amazing martial artist and teacher, and is leaving for Army Infantry School; I am taking him to Georgia this weekend and he starts his new life at Ft. Benning Monday. Diego is 18.

And my youngest, Winston, will be 16 in January. He is just emerging as a teacher and leader in my dojo and has become so much the young man this year……

It seems like yesterday they were all little kids. I remember each as a baby laying on my chest, Little Ninja (4-6 year olds) in my dojo, the day they earned their first and subsequent Blackbelts and their growth as Blackbelt Leadership students into the confident, competent, focused, disciplined and powerful leaders they are today.

My boys grew into men along with my dojo (martial arts school)- Harley was literally born and raised alongside her, and the others right behind.

Shihan Harley teaches Monday & Wednesday nights along with Sensei Kyle Bierly and other great leaders that also grew up in the dojo by the way, and they all teach and learn with me on every Friday night Blackbelt Leadership seminars raising the next gen of Blackbelt leaders in 2021 too!

Which brings me back to my point and message.

Time does fly and 2021 will be no exception.

You can’t control that, nor can I. But what we can control is what we will accomplish.

What great things will you do with the 365 days given you?

What great memories will you make with each of the quickly fleeting moments that make up each day?

I know exactly. I have created ’21 for my life and the dojo in my mind and now all that is left is the physical manifestation of that mental creation.

This is how winning is done.

What will you do? In what areas will you improve?

Where will you be better and who will you become?

Step one is answering these questions and visualizing these new realities in your mind.

Step two is to make it happen.

And we will help you.

Krav Maga Martial Arts has room for 30 new students to join our Blackbelt Leadership Quest in January 2021.

Congratulations to the families already on the journey and see you back soon!

And congratulations in advance to the others that join us in January to make this their best year.

p.s. started the day yesterday with a photo shoot of the men in the Blackbelt Leadership uniforms, some individual, some just the 3 of them and some with me. Pictures create such great memories and now with Diego leaving it meant a lot to take those pics. It may be the last time we’re all together for a while. God is great. I am grateful for all the memories I’ve made with my boys and men and all still to come. I’ll share the pics as soon as I get them by the way. 🙂

p.s.s.  I’ll be publishing my book 1st quarter 2021. It’s one of the things I’ve been creating that will manifest. Click below to make sure you get a copy.
