The Negative Diet

All week I have been teaching on the 7 steps of a perfectly healthy negative diet.

I know it sounds paradoxical, but once I explain you’ll hopefully understand what a useful diet it really is.

The “negative diet” refers to restricting the most harmful things to protect our most valuable resource- which is Attitude.

There are 7 steps to the negative diet.

 1. Avoid all media. Could you do it for 30 days? 72 hours? If you’ve been addicted to iot for a while, start by trying one day.

 2. Stay Away from “can’t do” and other negative people. Make a list of 20 people you associate with in your life. Rate them as positive or negative. You have to choose. No “it depends” people; that’s negative.

 3. Get your people (hopefully positive ones) on the same page. You have a far better chance of succeeding at becoming a positive person if your family and inner circle are in it to win it with you.

 4. Avoid all drugs and alcohol.

 5. Stay away from all negative places. Start by making a list of the places that you know have you being less than your best. Then spend more time in places that challenge and grow you.

 6. The negativity cleanse. Go 24 hours allowing NO negativity into your life.

Let us know if you do it. Most won’t succeed on first attempt but, like all things, with practice over time, you can get quite good at it.

p.s. if you really want to be a positive person, you have to learn to be a thermostat; not a thermometer. Anyone can tell you what’s happening; it takes a positive person to make the right things happen.

p.p.s if you need some more positive people in your life, and aren’t with our tribe yet, you can start with a free 2 week trial and orientation here.
