It’s Excellence month at KMMA. Students will be testing for the Gold Excellence Stripes at the end of the month.

  We often explain to our youth students the importance of taking our lessons “out of the dojo and into the world”.  So, for kids, this means demonstrating excellence not just in their martial arts, but in school and their chores.

Like all the leadership lessons of our program, though, they don’t just apply to kids. It’s a good reminder for us all that excellence is about how we do anything and everything that we do.

Fun KMMA Trivia Fact: My undergraduate education was in Philosophy. I based much of my senior thesis on Aristotle’s Nichomachean Ethics.
