Winner Wednesday

The KMMA Mission statement is “Prepare To Live; Empower To Lead”.
The preparation to live speaks to the indomitable spirit and other Blackbelt attributes that prepare KMMA Blackbelt Leaders to survive and thrive in any adversity.
Empower to Lead is what it sounds like. We instill leadership skills, attitudes and aptitudes that empower Blackbelt leaders to find their passion and purpose and fulfill their calling.
Today’s Winning Wednesday spotlights two real world examples of each.
Senpai Bob Carpenter is the epitome of perseverence and indomitabe spirit.
He has been raising two grandkids as though they were his own for at least as long as I’ve known him.
He’s a hard worker and trains hard in classes too.
He’s always positive, happy and encouraging to all those around him.
And Bob is all these things, still, while battling cancer.
He says the chemo weeks are harder, but he is and does all the things I’ve cited for his family and for all those around him in spite of it.
Bob is a walking, talking, and smiling example of the KMMA Blackbelt Leadership lesson that “life is 10% what happens and 90% how we react to what happens”.
I’m looking forward to having him on a podcast with me very soon and I’ll share it with you.
Oh, by the way, Bob and the kids are testing for their Blackbelts in September!
Ms. Tammy Henrici is a loving wife, mother, grandmother and an awesome KMMA Blackbelt!
I am super proud of her in so many ways and, most recently, in her decision to make the leap of faith and follow her passion!
here’s Tammy’s facebook post.

After seeing her post, I sent her congratulations.
I love it when a KMMA Blackbelt takes their training out into the world!
Becoming an entrepreneur takes courage.
Tammy replied:
Stephen J. Del Castillo thanks Grand Master. It’s the discipline and perseverance you have instilled in all of your students which has helped me. I need to come talk to you soon.
I can’t wait to talk to her! Maybe she’ll be a Meditations on Mastery podcast guest soon too!
