Who’s Looking at You?

When I was talking to my Certified Instructor Training (CIT) students Saturday, I made a comment that “thinking about you helps me. I strive to be the kind of leader and man that you can look up to”.

It wasn’t part of my lesson plan, but a heartfelt emotion that I let come out.

I feel this way about my students, my staff, my tribe, and especially my kids.

Like all human beings, I’m not perfect.

But I do my best and get better all that time.

I care, and I want to be my best.

So, I have dedicated my life to improvement to be the best version of me that I can be.

And, for as far as I’ve come, I’ll keep getting better.

More than almost anything else in life, I have improved my leadership and example by what I read, watch, and listen to, and whom I allow to teach me.

Recently I was learning from the great Tony Robbins, and he said something that resonated with me, and which led to the creation of the course I am about to tell you about.

He said to think about an area in our past wherein we wish we’d have known better when we needed it; a time in which we wish we’d known then what we do today.

Then, he said, “teach to that person.

There are many others that need what you know too.”

For me, that was fatherhood.

I am blessed with some amazing kids…

But there is so much I wish I would have understood about raising kids back when I did, that I do know today.

That’s why I created the course EmPOWERing Fathers.

It’s the training I wish I’d had when I was a young dad raising my kids.

It will be officially released on my 54th birthday, April 20, 2023.

But you can pre-order for 20% off today. Just use coupon code “father”.

For yourself, or a great gift for someone you love for Father’s Day.

And, while I came at it as a father, because that’s what I know, it may be good for you mothers too.

None of us could be who we are without you. 🙂

(There’s a special session on respect for mama too.)
