What Should You Expect?

A new student recently asked me what she should expect.

I answered, but she also got me thinking…

So I will be creating an answer to that question for everyone- from those just reading my email or browsing my website, to intro and orientation students, to basic students, to Blackbelt Training and Blackbelt Leadership students, and even to Blackbelts of any degree.

It’s such a great question!

And having trained in the martial arts for about 42 years now, and having raised up hundreds of Blackbelts since we opened our academy almost 24 years ago, I can’t wait to share the answer!

By the way, I especially love when my new Blackbelts do so though.

If you haven’t heard it yet, make sure you listen to what new KMMA Probationary Blackbelt Lynn Schrader had to say in our podcast interview the other day.

But I also want to share another thought that came to me pertaining this question, because the answer I will give you next is even more important than the one to the question she actually meant to ask…

You Should Expect Exactly What You Want.

You may understand quickly exactly what I am saying but, in case not:

  • We move in the direction of our dominant thoughts.
  • Focus is the superpower that not only allows us to concentrate, but also to create.
  • Coupled with Vision, Focus creates the future; because energy flows where Focus goes.
  • So we MUST be careful to focus our Focus, so that positive, healing and powerful thoughts and beliefs create positive outcomes, rather than negative thoughts, worry and fear creating negative consequences.

Exercise and healthy nutrition and rest is essential.

But focusing our thoughts is more so.

It’s one of the many things we teach through our program, and part of what you can expect.

KMMA for Adults.    KMMA for kids.
