What are you Grateful For?

Have you ever found yourself focusing on what’s not right more than on what is?

I have.

Even though I know better, sometimes I’ll let something that isn’t the way I want it yet to preoccupy me.

Don’t get me wrong, of course we do need to know what in our life or business isn’t working optimally yet in order to fix it.

And we need to do that.

This is how we live a life of CANI (Constant and Never-ending Improvement).

But energy flows where Focus goes.

We get more of what we focus on.

So, we need to apply more Focus to all we have to be grateful for, and towards what we want, instead of on what we don’t.

Worry is like praying for what we don’t want.

So, as hard as it is, we need to focus our Focus on Gratitude and Vision- not worry or fear.

We live in a world that uses fear as a tool to get us to react.

It’s a powerful emotion, and many with ulterior motives use it to manipulate…

But we have a choice.

And the choice is to apply Focus to our goals, our priorities, to Gratitude and to Vision…

on what we want; not on what we don’t.

If you are wondering why I capitalize Focus, Gratitude and Vision, it’s because they are 3 of the 6 foundational Blackbelt Superpowers that I write about in my bookand teach at my Blackbelt Leadership academy.

Together, they are POWERFUL!

Believe me, I understand that what I am suggesting in this blog is simple, not easy…

but like fitness, self-defense skills, Confidence, success, communication, relationship, faith, happiness….

like all the worthy and wonderful things that make life joyful, Focus on Gratitude and Vision, instead of fear, gets easier with training.
