If we look for an opportunities to be offended, we will easily find some;
if we look to count our blessings instead, there are so many that we won’t have time to be offended because we spend that time focused on all we have to be gratful for.
If we look for an excuse to quit, we’ll find one;
but if we look for reasons to stay committed to our goals we’ll find those too.
Every time we do, our self respect, discipline and resolve gets better as well; making excuses less palatable and success more likely.
If we are looking for reasons to worry, we wouldn’t have to look too far.
If we look instead to all the times that we worried and that what we were worried about didn’t come true, or to all the times God delivered us through a diffuclut situation, or even to the times we thank God for unanswered prayers…..
The focus on these past victories and blessings surely overshadow the things we could choose to worry about, should we choose to focus on them instead.
If we’re looking for a fight; sure enough someone else is too.
But if we are looking for a friend, starting with a smile will often do.
If we looking to learn, and grow in a positive direction, this is easy too;
but so is complacency, and the choice is up to you.
