Two Minutes That Can Strengthen Your Relationship With Your Child
As we count down to our FREE Back-to-School Success Seminar on July 25, we’re sharing one simple habit each day to help children develop the confidence and character they need for a successful school year.
Today’s 2-Minute Challenge:
Have a Positive Conversation
In the middle of busy schedules, homework, and endless to-do lists, it’s easy to overlook one of the most powerful ways to help our children succeed-simply taking time to listen.
Today, set aside just two minutes for a positive, distraction-free conversation with your child.
Ask questions like:
- What’s something you’re proud of today?
- What’s a challenge you overcame?
- What are you looking forward to?
There are no right or wrong answers. The goal is simply to listen, encourage, and let your child know they have your full attention.
These conversations help build:
- Stronger relationships
- Emotional confidence
- Better communication
When children feel heard at home, they’re more likely to face challenges with confidence both in the classroom and in life.
