The 7th Superpower
Ch. 1-6 of my book are about developing what I call the 6 Foundational Blackbelt Superpowers; but ch.7 is about discovering and developing your own unique superpowers. One of my friends, Ruthe (she also happens to be my EA, COS and a KMMA Blackbelt Leader), definitely has the superpower of thoughtfulness. I mentioned in passing last week that I needed to find a mouse pad, and walked into this amazing gift today. Today I am grateful for her and this amazing gift too.

That’s from a post I made a few minutes ago when I first walked in the academy today.
It’s true.
The foundations Blackbelt Superpowers of Focus, Respect, Discipline, COnfidence, Gratitude and Vision are essential for success at anything any of us ever sets out to do…
So that’s why I made them the foundational superpowers in my Blackbelt Leadership Program and my book.
But God definitely put some others in each of us too; and these are the ones that uniquely equip us for what we are specifically called to do.
One of Ruthe’s is thoughtfulness, which serves her extremely well in her calling.
I think we could all do with more of that by the way; I’m working on it, how about you?
Some of mine are leadership, communication and teaching.

About Grandmaster Stephen J. Del Castillo: Grandmaster Del Castillo is the founding Master Instructor of Krav Maga Martial Arts and has been empowering lives in Pasco and Hillsborough Counties since October of 2000.
