Parent’s Night Out Costume Party!

Hello KMMA Tribe!

Last week, we had the privilege of attending an amazing training session in Golden, Colorado and the knowledge and insights gained will help us to enhance your martial arts experience and make our school even stronger!

I’m so excited to be back with all of our amazing students just in time for Blackbelt goal setting season! It’s time for everyone to set their next goal and we want to see our mirrors covered in your Vision sheets! If you haven’t filled one out, make sure you get one from any of our instructors today! Remember, you also get a character stripe worth 25 stripes when you complete one as well!

Friday, October 20th: Tonight we have our “Parents Night Out Costume Party” from 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM hosted by Shihan Carolyn and Senpai Lydia. Come dressed up as your favorite costume! This event is an opportunity for parents to enjoy an evening to themselves while the kids have a blast in a safe and supervised environment. To make it even more exciting, we encourage everyone to bring a friend and wear their favorite costumes!

Saturday, October 28th: You’re invited to our Self Defense Against Halloween Horror Movie Villains Seminar! It will be a lot of fun and you’ll definitely learn something new! This is a KMMA Blackbelt Leadership Event but we are inviting Basic students and first time guests too!

Tuesday, October 31st: We will be closed on Halloween, but we encourage everyone to grab some Kick or Treat cards from the dojo if you haven’t already. And if you’re not a student yet, that’s fine, come on by the school and grab some cards for yourself as well as some to hand out during Trick or Treat!

About Grandmaster Stephen J. Del Castillo: Grandmaster Del Castillo is the founding Master Instructor of Krav Maga Martial Arts and has been empowering lives in Pasco and Hillsborough Counties since October of 2000. He is a 7th degree Blackbelt, MBA, author, mentor and success coach, a US Army Veteran and a proud father and grandfather. He is married to Ms. Barbara Del Castillo who helps him run the school. Grand Master Del Castillo began his training in the early 80’s and has high level blackbelts in Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Premier Martial Arts and Krav Maga Martial Arts as well as experience in kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do and Jiujitsu. He has high level instructor certifications from BBSI, IKMF, and KMG and has been featured in numerous Martial Arts publications and also Success magazine. He was a competitive sport karate and American Kickboxing instructor until he enlisted in the US Army where he served in the 82nd Airborne Division, where he won an Army Green to Gold scholarship and proceeded to ROTC and the University of Tampa. He was commisioned in 1992 and went on to serve in Germany with the 3rd Infantry Division and then in several other posts in the US until he left military service to pursue his dream of creating KMMA in 2000.
