Believe it or not, we are only 6 weeks away from our 2020 Krav Camp & Blackbelt Retreat!

The event will be a weekend long retreat, beginning with Blackbelt presentations Friday night and ending with Blackbelt test Sunday!

The retreat is for all Blackbelts and especially those testing to their Blackbelt or next step or degree.

But all KMMA practitioners of any rank or level are welcome to join us for training Saturday!

• if you are testing, please email me at shihansteve@tampakravmaga.com so that I can get you some special instructions and make sure you are on my roster and such. Amongst other things, I have a presentation I need you to prepare, so don’t miss this step!

Speaking of events and Blackbelts, we are also entering Blackbelt Goal Setting Season at KMMA!

•     As I have been teaching every time I get on the mat, goal setting, visualization and renewing our goals periodically is an absolutly essential piece of accomplishing anything great. A worthy enough goal (a compelling why) keeps us moving in the direction of it even when the going gets tough. Sensei Kyle and Sensei Sarah will be leading you through important goal setting and visualization activities, and we have some great events and surprises for you too. (Don’t miss next week by the way, and come in your best uniform!)

• I am teaching a Blackbelt Leadership seminar this Friday night that is going to be awesome! I’ll teach some more on the magic of goal getting, and Team KMMA and other Blackbelts and up and coming leaders are going to help teach on What To Say When You Talk To Yourself and also some fun material including Nunchaku, Kali and Bo staff training! It’s Friday from 7-8:30! You gotta be there!

About Grandmaster Stephen J. Del Castillo: Grandmaster Del Castillo is the founding Master Instructor of Krav Maga Martial Arts and has been empowering lives in Pasco and Hillsborough Counties since October of 2000. He is a 7th degree Blackbelt, MBA, author, mentor and success coach, a US Army Veteran and a proud father and grandfather. He is married to Ms. Barbara Del Castillo who helps him run the school. Grand Master Del Castillo began his training in the early 80’s and has high level blackbelts in Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Premier Martial Arts and Krav Maga Martial Arts as well as experience in kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do and Jiujitsu. He has high level instructor certifications from BBSI, IKMF, and KMG and has been featured in numerous Martial Arts publications and also Success magazine. He was a competitive sport karate and American Kickboxing instructor until he enlisted in the US Army where he served in the 82nd Airborne Division, where he won an Army Green to Gold scholarship and proceeded to ROTC and the University of Tampa. He was commisioned in 1992 and went on to serve in Germany with the 3rd Infantry Division and then in several other posts in the US until he left military service to pursue his dream of creating KMMA in 2000.
