Leadership, Community & Celebration at KMMA — You’re Invited

KMMA Family,

This past weekend, we experienced something truly special.

Our most recent Certified Instructor Training (CIT) was one of the strongest we’ve ever held—high energy, great questions, strong leadership habits, and a room full of people committed to serving others and growing themselves. I couldn’t be prouder of this group and the example they set for our entire community.

CIT continues to be the pathway for those who feel called to teach, mentor, and work directly on the mat—serving as instructors, assistant instructors, and leaders inside our classes.

     But it’s not the only leadership path at KMMA.

🔹 Introducing (or Re-Introducing) MAP

Mentor • Apprentice • Professional

This Friday night from 7:30–9:00 PM, we officially kick off our next MAP cycle.

MAP is the complementary leadership track to CIT and is designed for those who feel drawn to:

  • Supporting the operations and growth of the organization

  • Leadership roles such as DFI, Program Director, or Administrative Leadership

  • A professional pathway that may eventually include senior leadership, school management, or branch leadership

Some team members will choose CIT or MAP based on their interests.
Others—especially those exploring a long-term career path—will do both.

If you’ve ever thought:

“I want to help build something meaningful,”
“I like leadership, systems, and serving people,” or
“I want to grow professionally while growing personally,”

MAP may be for you.

🎉 KMMA Family Birthday Celebration

Saturday | 1:30–3:00 PM

This Saturday, we’re also launching something new—and very close to our hearts.

We’ll be celebrating all KMMA family birthdays for January & February with food, fellowship, and fun. This is a chance to:

  • Meet new families

  • Strengthen friendships

  • Celebrate life together outside of class

These monthly gatherings are about community, connection, and belonging—because KMMA has always been more than a martial arts school. It’s a family.
