I Made a Mistake- Here’s What’s Important Next (WIN)
At KMMA, one of our core values is CANI (continuous and never-ending improvement).
As many of you know, when we moved into the new dojo, we adjusted some of our prime-time scheduling in an effort to create more class opportunities for more students and families.
The intention was good:
Use the larger space and our multiple instructors to better serve more students during the busiest times of the day.
After evaluating it over the last several weeks, I realized that while the idea had benefits, the execution was not fully meeting our Blackbelt Leadership Academy standard of structure, flow, and discipline.
So we made an adjustment.
For the remainder of this quarter, Level 1 and Level 2 are now training from one unified class plan that allows us to teach all students together with greater organization, energy, coaching, and leadership focus.
The result has already been a stronger, more disciplined and more effective training environment.
As always, we will continue to PARI:
- Plan.
- Act.
- Review.
- Improve.
That’s what Blackbelt Leaders do.
As we move into the next schedule evolution, we will continue refining and improving to create the absolute best experience possible for our students and families.
Thank you for growing with us.
