From Surviving the Pandemic → Opening Our Largest Headquarters Ever

This memory popped up for me this week.

It was six years ago, the early days of the pandemic.

Businesses were shutting down.

Communities were uncertain.

Nobody knew exactly what the future would look like.

I remember standing up our EOC (Emergency Operations Center) and preparing to brief my leadership team.

    Not about fear.

About leadership.

About how we would continue to serve our students and families.

About how we would support our team.

About how we would use that difficult moment to grow stronger.

At Krav Maga Martial Arts we’ve always believed something important:

We are not just a martial arts school.

We are a leadership organization that also teaches martial arts.

So we leaned into the same principles we teach our students every day:

     Focus.
   Discipline.
   Resilience.
   Teamwork.

And because of that…

     We didn’t just survive.

We grew stronger.

Looking back at that memory today is especially meaningful.

Because right now we are preparing to open the largest headquarters in KMMA history.

A new 3,300 square foot training academy.

Mirrors are up.

The mats are going down this weekend.

And soon the floor will be filled with students training, growing, and becoming confident Blackbelt Leaders.

From one of the most uncertain seasons in our world…

To one of the most exciting chapters in our academy’s history.

That’s what happens when people commit to a simple principle:

     Team Up. Never Give Up.

The future of KMMA is just getting started.

Osu.
