Fantastic Friday – Where are you and what are you doing?

It’s Fantastic Friday!

My wife and I are in Annapolis at the US Naval Academy, learning from and with Captain Cao who is a graduate of here, Grand Masters Oliver and Smith, and many other martial arts leaders from around the country.

We are here to learn, to marinate, to recharge, to mastermind and to grow.

Shihan Harley, who is testing for his 5th degree Blackbelt next September, earning his brown belt many years ago. The road to mastery is a lifetime journey.

Meanwhile, my Team will be conducting Fantastic Friday operations back at the dojo, to include Shihan Harley, my son and senior student and instructor, who will be teaching the Leadership seminar tonight.

That seminar is the final rehearsal and tryout to be on the Kali Demo Team for the Blackbelt Extravaganza next week!

So try to make it if you are a Blackbelt Leadership student who hasn’t already this month- or even for extra practice if you did!

Also, if you’re reading this and you’re a student, I trust you made your two classes this week and passed your stripe test!

I hope you did, and that you’re fired up for the belt test and then graduation next week!

And some of you are even going to be joining me for The Blackbelt Retreat if you qualify, or maybe for the Saturday Krav Camp if you’re not a Blackbelt or candidate yet!

Triton’s mother, my daughter Heather, is a KMMA Blackbelt too! (well Daimyo era, but my Blackbelt nonetheless)

The point is, everyone should be doing something to learn, and grow, and marinate, and stay motivated towards the accomplishment of your goals!

Remember, what you do today is paving the way for the success you will experience tomorrow.

It won’t do itself.

The ‘secrets” to success are simple;

but the execution isn’t always easy.

On the other hand, it’s not that hard either.

You’re gonna be doing something.

Why not make it something that matters?

To me, learning is fun. It keeps me green and growing!

So, if you’re a student, congrats and good luck on your test next week!

If you’re not yet, what are you doing today?

Is it moving you closer to your goals?

Do you have some? What are they?

The first step to becoming who you need to be towards living the life that you want is to make a choice.

Decide and get to doing it.

Not only will you create a better future, but you’ll have more fun and be more happy along the way.

Let us know if you want my Team and I to help!
