Everyone Gets Exactly What They Need

Several years ago, after a stress test at a Blackbelt test (back when we used to do those at a krav camp out in the woods), KMMA Senior Blackbelt Thomas Pioli told me, “you always give everyone exactly what they need”.

   I never forgot that compliment; that philosophy is pivotal to what we do.

And it’s never been more true than at KMMA today.

My son, Sensei Winston Del Castillo is a straight up beast. He’s big and powerful, and his krav maga and kickboxing skills are top notch.

He teaches the adults, pushes them hard- and makes sure they get exactly what they need. 

Most adults come for fitness, fun and/or stress relief and the most practical self-defense. And this is what they get.

And my daughter, Sensei Allie, (she’s not really my daughter, but she has been my student since she was 3), teaches the children and gives them exactly what they need! 

   She is patient, kind, enthusiastic and amazing at developing Focus, Respect, Discipline, Confidence, Gratitude and Vision in kids, while they also have fun, get a great workout and learn some great self defense too!

There are a whole stable of other great instructors that support them too, and help us do what we do.

   Oh, and by the way, the classes are family classes so, while you train with the adults getting exactly what you need, the kids train with the other kids getting what you need (for them to get).

About Grandmaster Stephen J. Del Castillo: Grandmaster Del Castillo is the founding Master Instructor of Krav Maga Martial Arts and has been empowering lives in Pasco and Hillsborough Counties since October of 2000. He is a 7th degree Blackbelt, MBA, author, mentor and success coach, a US Army Veteran and a proud father and grandfather. He is married to Ms. Barbara Del Castillo who helps him run the school. Grand Master Del Castillo began his training in the early 80’s and has high level blackbelts in Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Premier Martial Arts and Krav Maga Martial Arts as well as experience in kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do and Jiujitsu.
