This is going to be one of those lessons that came to me and, as soon as i started writing I realized it’s especially for me; that is, I hope it serves you well too, but I needed the reminder, and so it was sent.
We live bust, fast paced lives and, in many cases, efficiency is important.
But there are others in which less efficiency can serve us well.
I thought about it while running around back and forth getting some chores done and, after thinking to myself about how I could be more efficient about it, chuckled when I thought “I’m getting some steps in”.
This kind of efficiency applies to parking far out when you go to Sam’s, for the extra exercise on the way ion and out and to avoid getting dings on your new truck. 😉
Likewise, taking the stairs, old school exercise, pulling weeds, pushing a mower or “going the extra mile”. 😉
It’s especially true in relationship.
I struggle with this one.
I’m a driven hard worker, and always going a hundred miles an hour.
And I know that there are important relationships that I need to spend more time on.
Sometimes I can be a little too efficient and, as we should know but sometimes for get (I hope you don’t mind that I keep including you in my own lesson to me), efficiency is only best when it is also effective.
