Do You Have a Birthday?
Of course you have a birthday; we all do.
This blog is predominantly about our children’s birthdays, but happy birthday to us too. 🙂
Two specific birthdays led to this post, and the idea I wanted to share with you.
The first was Abby’s birthday, and this post by her mom:
My Blackbelt Leader Sensei at KMMA are so great at creating a special experience for our students- in classes, and at all our special events, including birthdays!
The second was my grandson’s today.
For a myriad of reasons it was kind of last second and we hadn’t really planned it, but we pulled off some fun for him at the dojo anyway.
With more time, I would have invited some of his friends from inside and outside the dojo tribe to make his experience even more fun.
But he still really enjoyed the ninja trix, having laid out his own little course…
But it would have been even more fun with some other kids around, which led to my great idea!
And you know how I am, I act on ideas pretty quickly, so here goes, we are going to start having KMMA Community birthday parties on the fourth Saturday of every month!
We’ll set up the Ninja Trix, provide the pizza, cake, drinks and amazing KMMA Sensei and make it another value added KMMA community event!
All KMMA kids with birthdays that month will be celebrated and can invite friends!
Everyone will have fun, get a great birthday party with our amazing KMMA community, Sensei and tribe, and can invite their guests too! I bet the parents will even have fun socializing while the kids do too!
This is just meant to be another perk of the KMMA community and program for you!

About Grandmaster Stephen J. Del Castillo: Grandmaster Del Castillo is the founding Master Instructor of Krav Maga Martial Arts and has been empowering lives in Pasco and Hillsborough Counties since October of 2000. He is a 7th degree Blackbelt, MBA, author, mentor and success coach, a US Army Veteran and a proud father and grandfather. He is married to Ms. Barbara Del Castillo who helps him run the school. Grand Master Del Castillo began his training in the early 80’s and has high level blackbelts in Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Premier Martial Arts and Krav Maga Martial Arts as well as experience in kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do and Jiujitsu.
