According to the Urban Dictionary, the “summertime blues” is defined as:

The realization that summer is coming closer to an end. During the last week of Summer you try and cram everything from the list in, but most likely miss. Often Summertime Blues occur during the days preceding labor day, and as such mark a saddening time on a persons’ life – this is because after labor day basically summer is over. Everyone after labor day returns to their prior engagements such as work or school. As we know, summer is the best season because you can do nearly everything and nothing. There is no official cure for the summer time blues, as it’s inevitable.

Monday-Thursday:

0900: Morning warm-up, stretch and mental prep for an awesome day

0930: Leadership: Lessons, discussions and assignments led by Grandmaster Del Castillo

1000: Training Evolution One: Krav Maga Combatives & Self Protection 

1100:  Developing Your Superpowers- Lessons & discussions from Grandmaster Del Castillo’s book

1130: Lunch

1200:  Study Hall/Open Mat with KMMA Instructors

1230: Team building games

1300: Training Evolution Two: Kicking & Kickboxing

1400: Productive Rest- reading, drills 4 skills or discussion group (all 3 will happen and each student can choose where they want to go)

1430: Certified Instructor Training (CIT)

1500: Training Evolution Three: Review, Test and Teach

1600: Pick-up and after camp activities

Friday: 

Friday, end of first week:   

0900-1100: progress & stripe test 

1100-1200: Lunch buffet courtesy KMMA

1200-1500: Friday fun day activities

1500-1600: Rehearse for presentation

About Grandmaster Stephen J. Del Castillo: Grandmaster Del Castillo is the founding Master Instructor of Krav Maga Martial Arts and has been empowering lives in Pasco and Hillsborough Counties since October of 2000. He is a 7th degree Blackbelt, MBA, author, mentor and success coach, a US Army Veteran and a proud father and grandfather. He is married to Ms. Barbara Del Castillo who helps him run the school. Grand Master Del Castillo began his training in the early 80’s and has high level blackbelts in Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Premier Martial Arts and Krav Maga Martial Arts as well as experience in kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do and Jiujitsu. He has high level instructor certifications from BBSI, IKMF, and KMG and has been featured in numerous Martial Arts publications and also Success magazine. He was a competitive sport karate and American Kickboxing instructor until he enlisted in the US Army where he served in the 82nd Airborne Division, where he won an Army Green to Gold scholarship and proceeded to ROTC and the University of Tampa. He was commisioned in 1992 and went on to serve in Germany with the 3rd Infantry Division and then in several other posts in the US until he left military service to pursue his dream of creating KMMA in 2000.
