Celebrating the Queens of our Tribe: Mother’s Day Punch & Brunch
At KMMA, family isn’t just a buzzword—it’s our foundation. This past weekend, we had the privilege of honoring the incredible women who lead our tribe during our epic Mother’s Day Punch & Brunch event.
The energy in the dojo was electric as our moms stepped off the sidelines and onto the mat. Under the guidance of Grandmaster, Sensei James, and Sensei Bobby, these guests of honor joined their children for a special session of partner drills and instruction. It was a beautiful sight to see families training side-by-side, sharing laughs and a few “high-fives”.
While the moms were focused on their training, Ms. Barbara and her team of helpers were hard at work behind the scenes, setting the stage for a spectacular brunch. The spread was truly a feast, featuring an assortment of sandwiches, sides, fruit, and for dessert – everyone’s favorite – cake! To add an extra touch of appreciation, several of the gentlemen from our KMMA community stepped up to serve, ensuring our moms didn’t have to lift a finger.
We were also deeply honored to welcome a very special guest: Grandmaster’s own mother, who joined us to celebrate the legacy of family that spans generations here.
It was a spectacular day defined by community, connection, and great food. A huge thank you to everyone who showed up to make our moms feel as powerful and appreciated as they truly are.
Gentlemen, get ready—we’re doing it all again next month for Father’s Day!
