The slogan when I was in the US Army was “Be All You Can Be”.
There have been a few others since, and the current “What’s Your Warrior” isn’t bad; the “Army Of One” that replaced Be All You Can Be was by the way, but that’s irrelevant to this blog.
What I do want to talk about is the meaning of “Be All That You Can Be”.
That slogan inspired me back when I served in the eighties and nighties and it still inspires me today.
Be All That You Can Be speaks to living to your full potential.
Be is an action word- don’t think about being, or wonder what you should be BE!
ALL that you can be. Don’t be satisfied with the way you are; work to BE ALL you are created and called to be!
YOU. It’s not relevant or useful to compare what you have, who you are or what you are capable of to anyone else; but it is to discover, develop and live up to your own potential!
I am so grateful I spent so many of my most formative years growing up in the Be All You Can Be Army and doing just that.
I am even more grateful that I have spent the last 20 of my years helping other kids, young men and ladies become all that they can be.
It’s what we do at KMMA. We help people discover their full potential and then build upon it.
We foster confidence, competence and leadership skills that empower them to do so, both in their present cast and calling and as the future Blackbelt Leaders they’re destined to be!
Be All That You Can Be!

At last Friday’s Leadership Training Seminar I spoke to the students about the secret Tom Brady shared with Taylor Heinecke, and more importantly one of the great secrets about being all that you can be… watch it below!
