Can Your Child Introduce Themselves with Confidence?
This challenge is part of our countdown to the FREE Back-to-School Success Seminar on July 25. Welcome to Day 8!
Each day, we’re sharing one quick activity to help children build the habits of successful students-and confident leaders.
Today’s 2-Minute Challenge:
Practice introducing yourself with confidence.
Ask your child to practice saying:
“Hi! My name is ________. It’s nice to meet you!”
Then encourage them to remember these four simple habits:
✅ Stand tall
✅ Make eye contact
✅ Smile
✅ Speak clearly
It only takes a couple of minutes, but these simple habits help children develop:
- Confidence
- Social skills
- The ability to make a great first impression
Children who feel comfortable introducing themselves are often more willing to participate in class, ask questions when they need help, and build friendships more easily.
Every day of this challenge is about helping your child develop the life skills that lead to success-both inside and outside the classroom.
