Travel Day

Sensei John and I have had awesome training days in Colorado since Wednesday and, again, my amazing team of KMMA Sensei, along with my amazing wife Barbara, have done an amazing job keeping the training going back at the academy since we’ve been gone.

I love training.

I love training myself and I love training others.

We of course train students at Krav Maga Martial Arts six days a week, with Basic Training and qualification classes, as well as Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior and Senior level Blackbelt Leadership classes every day.

We offer so many classes, and at various times, to make sure everyone can get their 2-3 days a week.

We know that when they develop this training habit, to Blackbelt and beyond, that they will become the confident and competent Blackbelt leaders prepared to survive and thrive in any situation and empowered to lead!

We offer semi-private intro and orientation lessons daily too! You first gotta start!

What you may not know is that we are constantly training the trainer too.

I get to train Team KMMA Sensei and staff formally on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, in addition to the regular on the job training we do..

and that’s the same way we train future Sensei too.

Blackbelt Leadership students train in leadership, curriculum, communication and public speaking skills, and some even become CIT (Certified Instructor Training) cadets, training towards instructor certification.

You know how awesome our KMMA Instructors, and all of our Blackbelt Leaders and Masters, are.

This is all the result of training.

Well, that was a lot of writing about training for an email blog titled “travel day”.

Truth is, I started with the title, since today is my travel day, and then started out to see what I had to say about it.

it turned out I wrote about training.

So what do I do on a travel day.

Well, I read and write and, well, travel.

I’ll also review and focus my notes from training…

I start out with coffee and write for you.

And I can’t wait to get back to training with you too!
