See To Believe

I was preparing my lesson for tonight’s Blackbelt Leadership seminar and decided I would write about it for you too.

Tonight I am going to be teaching on one of our most important Foundational Superpowers- Vision.

Vision is a Superpower because we need it to know where we want to go.

But, more than that, we need it to manifest that new reality.

The first step of Vision is creating and visualizing the future that we want to create.

The next is actually visualizing that reality into existence.

It sounds crazy, but our mind is an incredibly powerful tool.

I am sure that you know that Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarterback Tom Brady recently led the Bucs to a Superbowl.

You may or may not know I’ve done a couple blogs and a podcast already about that subject.

This will be the last where I talk about Tom for a while- it’s not that I have a bromance with him or anything; but just that I think his story is a great example of what leadership can do.

As pertains to today’s lesson and this blog, I recently told my wife that I was sure that, in addition to all the great physical and leadership skills, experience and work ethic, Tom Brady was a Master manifestor.

She told me a story that supported that I was right- apparently Tom sent a text to his team mates every night at exactly 11pm that read:

“We are going to win this game.”

The first step towards using Vision to create a reality we want is to speak it.

The second is to Believe it.

This is where I’m going to teach about a very special sub-power of the Vision Superpower.

    The power of Trust.

Trust comes when we believe in the character AND the competence of the Superhero casting the Vision.

     Results create Trust.

Tom Brady’s teammates believed it when he told them that they would win.

Why, because he’d shown them it could be done.

He’d led them to victory in the two contentious playoff games against the two great teams and two other legendary quarterbacks before this one, and the many games leading to those playoffs.

Brady gave his teammates reason to believe in the Vision when he said, “We are going to win this game.”

  And then they did.

Speak your Vision into existence. Do the work. Get the results.

   And then Win.
